Do animals perceive time? If they do, how do they feel or think about time? Does a cat loop through time or does that looping only happen with rationalization? My take is that it probably does not loop, or if it does, then to a much lesser degree
Trust feels like an important ingredient to me here. Like you have to trust the present moment in order to surrender to it and that in that trust our attention is a warm hug on it’s landing zone and that without that trust our attention is a gas that darts around

i guess animals perceive time from the cycles of their system, the day to night, etc. because time - as in, the digits: the hours, minutes - is the programmed 'looping' that keeps us returning back 'to the beginning' each day, week, month, year etc whereas because cats don't have that sort of information inputted into them. i guess their only perception of time is from their own cycles, observations of the seasons, etc. I can't speak for a cat though. obviously. haha. that's my guess.
"trust our attention is a warm hug on it's landing zone" that's sweet, actually. it's a nice way to approach having trust. not needing to rush, nor scatter our attention on a multitude of things in order to get everything done 'in time'.
